Sorry...

Jul 26, 2004 ten to six pm

No new entries for the past few days.  I'd like to think it's because the gaming industry has finally taken all my advice and brilliant games are now streaming out the door and selling like hot-cakes and I have nothing to rant about.  But, it's really because my bathroom is disgusting and I needed to clean it.

I started working on a piece on the train today, so maybe that will be up soon.  Depends on the state of my kitchen.

Speaking of the train, I'm hanging out at Double Fine these days.  I was getting bored at the house trying to work with that disgusting bathroom in the next room, so Tim lent me a desk for a while so I can get something done.

I'm keeping a diary of all the weird thing I see for my industry tell-all book.

Tell Tim I'd like a job as a bunny.

No, I'm not asking you to, I'm telling you to.

Ron and Tim... together...
Well, I hate to sound like a kiss ass, but this can only lead to good things.

Ironically, I also noticed how disgusting my bathroom was today. I squirted some blue skudge I found into the bowl and things seem to have calmed down.
Ron -> Look for some blue skudge, and squirt it around the edge of the bowl.

If we're going to be talking about bathrooms here...

I seem to always think my bathroom is super disgustingly dirty, but truthfully it's not...

...Although sometimes the floor feels slimy.

Plz gt me jb @ DblFn thnx.

Ron, in your lunch-hour at Double Fine, can you please whip up a PC port of Psychonauts for those of us with a wife, 3 kids,  2 cats, some tropical fish, a 9-5 office job, 1 TV and no chance of ever getting to play on an X-box, even if we actually owned one (which we don't).

Or at least ask Tim to.

Thanks.

My bathroom's pretty bad too. :~ The problem is, I think it's so bad it's BEYOND cleaning. Or, uh, that's my excuse at least.

You know, I thought that game design happened in a cutthroat world where you tripped the people in front of you ? killed them if they happened to be your friends ? and walked over them to the top so that you could shit down on your lessers and kiss the assorted asses of various bureaucrat publishers sitting around you on their chairs made of still screaming living skeletons...

But here we see Tim give you a desk!

What could this gesture possibly mean?!

Soooo... the desk has manacles and is watching and listening?

What?
Ron breathes and lives next to Tim and....NO DOUBLEFINE ACTION NEWS ABOUT THIS!
I'm deeply disappointed.
Jokes apart, I really think that Ron, Tim and Dave are some of the best storytellers ever.
