Thanks for taking the time to discuss this, I feel strongly about it and love learning more on this topic. If possible, as you gain expertise, would you mind updating your blog with more information? It is extremely helpful for me.

Posted by levigatura fori on Jul 25, 2011 ten to six am

Found your weblog by accident for the second time these days so I considered I would have a nearer appear. I've just started producing my own blog site and modeling it right after what you have done. I hope mine is going to be as profitable as yours.

Posted by kids clothing on Jul 25, 2011 ten to six am

your blog needs to be one of the best written blogs that I have learn in a protracted time. What I wouldn't give as a way to put up posts which might be as interesting| as yours. I guess I will have to continue studying yours and pray that someday I will write on a subject with as a lot wisdom as you have! Bravo!!

Posted by Headwoünd on Dec 9, 2008 twenty past two am

Why yes, that is correct. How magnificently observed.

Because I have too much time at work and looked at the cast at imdb.com, I'm taking a wild guess and conclude Death Spank's release date will be 8th May or 5th August. May Better be May, or else.

Posted by I am Jack's left ear on Dec 10, 2008 twenty five past seven am

I have come to the same conclusion. I'm extending the theory by guessing it's May 8th, because I don't think Ron would post a note on this so far ahead. Further research needed on the timing relationship between Ron's posts and their relevance to an event in the world. Would someone do this and calculate a median? Thanks.

Posted by Jack on Dec 10, 2008 half past seven am

And stop calling my comments dumb, Ron. It's insulting.

Posted by Johnny W on Dec 11, 2008 ten past one pm

What a dumb thing to say.

Posted by Jack on Dec 11, 2008 ten past three pm

What a dumb smile in that picture.

Posted by Ricky on Dec 12, 2008 five past nine am

Yeah, Johnny's smile looks slightly retarded, actually.

Posted by LazyAndroid on Dec 9, 2008 quarter to three am

Why do you always think there has to be a hidden message behind everything Ron says? Maybe there is simply nothing to get.

BTW I only see 11 people on that picture.

Posted by oznerol on Dec 9, 2008 ten to four am

hmmm that's right, where's the 12th?

Posted by bradstor on Dec 9, 2008 five past eight am

He's taking the picture

Posted by Joe on Dec 9, 2008 twenty to eleven am

That made me chuckle.

Posted by Jack on Dec 10, 2008 half past seven am

Good to know.

Mmmmhm.

Posted by blombo on Dec 12, 2008 twenty to ten am

Ah, there's the rub. Do you get it?

Posted by Tony on Dec 12, 2008 five to one pm

Why not throw in some "air quotes" as well?

Posted by Mario on Dec 9, 2008 twenty past three am

That's right, nothing hidden, just a fact

Posted by Headwoünd on Dec 9, 2008 ten to four am

Sheesh, relax. :>
I just felt like being silly.

But you would've heard it here first, just in case. Win/win. ;)

Ron stopped working on DeathSpank to make a lousy post. :P

Posted by Terry on Dec 9, 2008 twenty five past one pm

Posted by Giorgio on Dec 9, 2008 ten to two pm

Nope, it's the original picture.

Posted by Terry on Dec 9, 2008 twenty five to ten am

Oh yes they do look angry. But where is Henry Fonda? WHERE?!

Posted by LennieMelvin on Dec 9, 2008 ten to eleven am

Gee, they all look awful angry =[

Posted by clone2727 on Dec 9, 2008 twenty five past noon

My guess is that Ron's going to show random facts for a few days and then show something about DeathSpank.

Posted by Sam Lucas on Dec 10, 2008 ten past eleven am

I get it.  It's things he knows.  Like The Secret of Monkey Island and the DeathSpank release date.  It could be winding up to one of these being known by us all (It's not going to be the Secret of Monkey Island).  That or the guilt of not making adventure games to keep us entertained for the last 17 years has driven him mad.  I really hope its my second theory.

Posted by Joe on Dec 11, 2008 quarter past three pm

He's probably forgot what the secret is by now. And if not, Alzheimer will some day catch up with him.

Posted by Mike on Dec 10, 2008 quarter past two pm

E.G. Marshall > Henry Fonda + Jack Klugman

Enough said-

Posted by toothrot on Dec 10, 2008 twenty five to five pm

he's doing what Earl Pomerantz does in his blog except ron never wrote for tv just watched it so it is just trivial information which is not expected for a blog so thats funny. its not like he's telling us the 12th missing man in the photo shot jfk.

Posted by David on Dec 11, 2008 five to one am

Posted by Chalito on Dec 11, 2008 five past one pm

Posted by Johnny W on Dec 11, 2008 ten past one pm

Could this be Ron's version of the "12 days of Xmas"?

Posted by Joe on Dec 12, 2008 five am

There would be one every day

Posted by Jack on Dec 12, 2008 five past nine am

Shut up. No one wants to hear what you have to say.

Posted by Joe on Dec 13, 2008 twenty five to eight am

Oh fine I'll just crawl down a hole. I didn't mean to hurt you.

Posted by jack on Dec 14, 2008 ten past four am

Posted by Jack on Dec 14, 2008 ten past one pm

There, there... just let it all out. The world is a mean place, I know.

Posted by Ralph on Dec 12, 2008 twenty past five am

Did you know, then, that Richard Basehart and Barbara Bel Geddes starred in Fourteen Hours?

Posted by Stephen on Dec 12, 2008 ten past nine am

Wow, Ron. Maybe you should get a real education. Doesn't seem to be a lot you know. Unless there are many, many... many parts and you started with the weak stuff.

Posted by blombo on Dec 12, 2008 ten past ten am

Wow, Stephen. You may (or most probably may not) know many things, but the fundamental, insurmountable difference between you and Ron is that you're an idiot while he (as Vince Noir would say) is genius.

Posted by Jack on Dec 12, 2008 twenty five to one pm

... says blombo.

Posted by Marrilyn on Dec 12, 2008 twenty five to one pm

I have an opinion on what blombo just said. But I'm not gonna tell.

Posted by LennieMelvin on Dec 15, 2008 ten past noon

I think what gabe was trying to say was that they've spoken with apes more polite than us...

Posted by Karl on Dec 15, 2008 twenty to two pm

I get what gabe was saying, but I don't get what you're trying to say.
They've imitated the style of speech in Monkey Island during the sword fights, and they've done that very well... gabe just doesn't know that much about MI.

Posted by PaperJack on Dec 13, 2008 quarter past eight am

Hey, Ron Gilbert, I played all four Monkey Islands.
The third and the fourth one sucked, but the first and second were the best.
I'd probably never feel agin that sensation of both fear and fun I had in the last part of MI2, when LeChuck chases you.

Aniways, I found a indie game that I bet you will like.
It has an amazing story, simple but great graphics and it's really fun.
It's called Barkley Shut Up and Jam:Gaiden
http://chef.avalanchestudios.net/Barkley/Barkley%20Shut%20Up%20and%20Jam%20Gaiden.zip

Try it out, and tell me what you think.

Posted by X-reX on Dec 29, 2008 five to three am

I completely agree, but I didn't finish playing the third game. (I still wonder what happens with the carnival)
I didn't try to play the fourth.
Anyway, because you have with this honorable opinion I will try this game.

Oh, a worth thing to note is that Tim Schafer didn't participate in the third and fourth games.

Posted by Lord Sniffington on Dec 14, 2008 one pm

Hmmm, yes. Quite splendid.

Posted by Kroms on Dec 14, 2008 ten to nine pm

Ron's words of wisdom. :)

Posted by sharprm on Dec 20, 2008 five to midnight

I think Ron's avatar looks like two famous Canadian twins:

Brilliant. I made this observation earlier as well. He does look like a Canadian, plus he works there.

Posted by Ponzi on Dec 21, 2008 ten to eight am

Where's the chat thingy, Ron? Why did you remove it?

Posted by Brent on Dec 21, 2008 ten past four pm

This blog is boring. I've got to grow up and read proper stuff, not some random stuff peripherally related to games.

Here's something I know. James Stewart starred in It's A Wonderful Life. And you should all watch it tomorrow.

Posted by Film izle on Jul 30, 2009 seven pm

I'm just really, really concerned, Ron, that you'll pull an April 1st prank on us this year. You've been building up anticipation for years now, denying your practice of the 'prank'. It's the perfect setup. I'm keeping my eye on you and your shallow attempts at misdirection.

Posted by edinburgh b&b Khan on Dec 17, 2009 nine am

I don't think Ron would post a note on this so far ahead. Further research needed on the timing relationship between Ron's posts and their relevance to an event in the world.
