April Fool's Day

Mar 31, 2006 quarter past six pm

April Fool's Day approaches, a day when websites and blogs around the world post stupid stories they think are funny, but rarely are.

For the second year running, Grumpy Gamer will remain 100% April Fool's Joke free (not to mention interesting content free...but that will change soon...oh boy will it change...maybe).

The relief is OURS! Although I don't really mind innocent and elaborate April Fools jokes such as can be witnessed on the Internet. As long as they're a bit smart, and possibly making use of current circumstances.

I've pretty much come to expect april fools jokes from websites and bloggers lately. Was very refreshing to find someone who openly admits he isn't even going to try because of the monotony.

So, Zombo.com doesn't count as an April's fool's joke ?

Quoting: "Grumpy Gamer will remain 100% April Fool's Joke free".
I'm saying you're down to 98% now.

also, Zombo.com is old news, would you have read my blog post from 06-Oct-05 at my blog - odedsharon.com
but you're too busy making your silly little "computer games".

It's time to get some things outs for the fans. We want to know what you're doing.

You better, before I open up StalkRonGilbert.com.
;-)

Cheers and good luck with your secret projects.
speaking of secrets... can you... oh nevermind.

I discovered Zombo.com via Grumpy Gamer by the way. I've been there twice now, and a third time just seems inevitable.

Just... inevitable.

Technically, it's not an april fools joke as he's not telling you to click on such links, only that these are links he's been on lately. it'd be an april foold joke if Ron decided to tell you that zombo.com was simply the greatest website in recorded history or something.

Posted by bacon on Apr 5, 2006 twenty five past nine am

because you'd be a fool to not believe it?

Hey Ron, did you really go to France and meet some fans?  Cause if you wanna come to Australia, just letting u know you can stay in my place for free for a few days if you want.... its only an hour train ride from the city of Melbourne and short trips to get to Bells Beach and other Aussie Sights. I'll leave the key under the upside down flowerpot on the front step okay?

Nooo! Don't open StalkRonGilbert.com! My tripod RonCam site will become redundant!

Posted by pock on Apr 4, 2006 half past eleven am

Posted by Rodi on Apr 5, 2006 quarter to eight am

Have you clicked on it? It is what you choose to see in it.

I just read about how humor got lost in videogames, that the great minds of Ron Gilbert & Tim Schaffer are deeply missed, & also there's a rumor they might work together on a new project, tell us Ron, is this the beginning of the end of a dry, humorless era? are we finally going to have fun after all those years? We deserve it, it would be like theraphy for us

not really the best joke though.

IMO, the MI5 announcement with wavs of Guybrush and Largo were better (way back)

I tried to be funny on April Fools day, but not many people come to my website.  Of course, now that I discovered your website I will have to mention it on my blog...

I like the April Fool's Day jokes on the internet. But they must be witty and humurous.
