Vive La France: Part Deux: Le Plan

Mar 2, 2006 twenty to ten am

Update 1:  There is a chance we will change the meeting place to due size, weather and pizza concerns.  Check back for the lastest info.

Original post:
OK, here is the plan.  No complaining.

We'll meet-up at this Cafe in the Place de la Sorbonne called Les Something Something Pizzeria at 14:00.  It's got a red awning, you can't miss it.

They won't allow us to reserve a section, but they will informally get us all together.  A lot of people have said they are coming, so we could overflow the place, in which case this will be a real test of the hard core adventure game fans vs the possers as we congregate outside in the freezing cold.

The closest set Metro stop is Cluny - Le Sorbonne.

Hope to see you there.

I'm complaining a little bit !
A pizzeria ? I thought there were only book-stores on this square, but surely there are much better places to chat than a...pizzeria..., especially in that neighbourhood.
Anyway, that's a nice site, very Paris.
Saturday afternoon «sur le Boul'Mich»... It is going to be crowded. Or is it ? Could you give us a rough count ?
It's freezing Ron ! Although your choice is made, please DO think twice (and twice as large) about the size of the place ;-)

Well, it's hard when you don't know the city (or the langauge), but I am open to suggestions, but they have to be easy to get to and we'd have to switch soon!!!

About 15 people have said they'd be there, but it could be more, could be less.

Hi all,

With Lama (http://www.insertcredit.com/archives/000995.html), we have organized this with the collaboration of three others french communities, for a total of 20 peoples who are ready to meet ours video game heroes in Paris.

But, really, even if the "Place de la Sorbonne" is a nice place, a pizzeria... well... you understand. ^^

So, we propose a rendez-vous in a most typical parisian place, a café named Le Café Zimmer (English link: http://www.lezimmer.com/welcome.htm).
It's a lot expensive, more than a pizzeria, but this quiet and roomy place is certainly more adapted for a so unique meeting. ;)

If you, Ron, and Clayton are okay, i can reserve the main room, but i need you inform me before tomorrow, 5pm.

PS: sorry for my frenglish language. ^^
