Happy Smell Like A Pirate Day
Sep 19, 2008 eight am
This year I've decided to despence with tradition and instead of talking like a pirate, I'm going to smell like one.

It was probably a stretch to come up with 5. I guess padding is inevitable.

I don't think Ron likes the kind of pirates who steal software, like games.

I gotta tell you... If there was any doubt before, I can say for sure now that Ron Gilbert definatly has his own style... much like you can recognize a new AC/DC song before the singing even starts, I would have been able to tell that at least one of the guys behind Monkey Island had a hand in Death Spank right off the bat. Looks absolutely fantastic. I can count on one hand the adventure titles Ive enjoyed in the past decade, so thanks for putting the time into a game that might actually be worth playing these days...

My guess is, he didn't want to start a political controversy on his webpage. That probably also was the reason, why comments were disabled at the original post to begin with.

We should be asking about what the hell happened to Mr. GRUMPY, who left us like we were some old and non-compatible-windowsXP abbandon games :(
His only excuses are DeathSpank and perhaps chocolate, a lot of chocolate.
