Oh jeez...
I'm sorry, but if you think "no other director can make chase scenes like him", you don't watch many (good) movies. John Frankenheimer blows away any competition with the chase scene in Ronin. Frankenheimer actually told the stunt driver that he didn't want to see any brake lights. That's f**** awesome, I don't care what people say. Also, Peter Yates' 1968 hit Bullitt was, and can still be argued today as the best car chase ever. The new Bourne trilogy actually used Ronins chase scene to perfect the look of most of their car scenes.
