So Aliens are a big no-no and completely unbelievable but a box from "god" that melts people who look at it and not those who don't is absolutely fine?.
Not to mention a cup that makes you immortal if you drink from it but only in a small cave and a 500 years old knight who drank from said cup.
It was silly, cheesey and with a bit of a supernatural end, like all indy films.
