My experience is that it's a lot easier to teach, which may be why people view it as simpler.

A review I read before buying Roll for the Galaxy said it was much simpler than Race for the Galaxy. That's not true at all, but I do think the dice and other elements make it a better game than Race for the Galaxy.

I played Race first, so that's hard for me to tell. I really didn't enjoy Race, but like Roll.

boardgamearena.com gives the ability to play board games online, against real people.
Altought a live session (with live people in a real room) is far more funny than playing online, would you like to give it a try?

May I ask what is that you didn't enjoy about Race for the Galaxy? The issue I found with it is the same as a lot of card games: it's the real and tangible benefit of knowing what cards are on the deck.
PS: I'm having a lot of issues with the math question, I put the right answer but 3/4 times it just asks again.

We've played a bunch of Jump Drive https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/205597/jump-drive
My Race playing friends tell me that it is the simpler (and quicker) version of Race.

Have you played Tiny Epic Galaxy, if so, what did you think of it?

I feel like the little bit of randomness adds just enough uncertainty to make Roll the more exciting game. Of course, I have a friend who routinely destroys me at Race, so that could be a factor...
