This always annoyed me. I'm not only glad it annoyed someone else, but glad they decided to make video about it. I feel like I can put years of annoyance to rest now.

I still love Voyager, even with all of it's foibles, annoyances, and Neelix.

I agree. Voyager gets a lot of flack, but it's just one small notch below Next Gen for me. Like any Star Trek show, suffer through the first season.

Agree
Next Gen was my fav but Voyager did have characters with more interesting backgrounds (compared to the squeaky clean characters of next gen), it had the variety in characters of DS9 but a setting closer to NextGen, my 2nd fav as well, it ended up feeling pretty character driven (to me at least)

It's an artificial planet made by skilled engineers for some rich dude.
And Janeway's showing off like some cruise some ship captains :p
See, everything makes sense!

They must have been really annoyed to have put in the time for that much of an analysis.

I think the point about voyager is that it's so character-driven like Dom Re Re said. I don't like that. Most modern shows suffer from this. It's all about the people in the shows, which is particularily annoying in crime shows. They spend so much time showing private conversations and problems of the characters that the actual content is very poor. Voyager suffers from that very much, and so do a lot of tng episodes. tos directly transferred the moral/philosophical/whatever message. A lot of voyager episodes are so full of personal stuff that no one's really interested in (at least not me) that there's no actual star trekkish content. If I want to see people's personal issues, I'm gonna watch some other format. And seeing how tng was becoming more and more like that made my heart bleed.

I want to watch Voyager, but Mulgrew is a Catholic pro-lifer and I can't separate the art from the artist :/

I guess is ok but, we don't really know the rules of the universe and we don't even know all of the universe, so to me, it is unlikely, yes, impossible, no.

It's obvious:
That's no planet. It's a SPACE STATION.

Ooooh Mr. Gilbert I'm so delighted you noticed this tiny planet.
Because I am just a humble Talaxian Morale(?) officer suffering from C-PTSD, deep existential dread, losing the hottest woman on the ship and serving food to my sneering and ungrateful alien cohorts all day, despite often providing the Captain (who also patronises me at every conceivable turn) with the only useful clue to solve her seemingly endless problems; all while mostly maintaining a cheerful demeanour, I was too preoccupied, theologically and romantically bereft, unappreciated and hurt to notice this glaringly obvious fact.
